Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security Studies?

I have a B.A. in criminal justice w/ a minor in biology and an EMT-B certification. I want to get a master’s degree. Tulane University is offering a Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security Studies. It is a new degree at Tulane and I have no idea whether it is good. It has courses such as Emergency Management, Domestic and International Terrorism, Environmental Aspects of Disaster Response, maritime and Border Security, etc.

Would this degree be good? I don’t want to waste my time with a degree that’s worthless. I would like to eventually work in the emergency management field or something similar.
